Tackling the enormous burden caused by cancer is one of the greatest challenges of our generation. Receiving a prestigious PhD Scholarship and Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Cancer Research Trust has allowed me to realise a long-standing career aspiration by contributing to this effort. Cancer Research Trust donors should be rightfully proud that their generosity funds important research and supports the training and development of young cancer researchers in New Zealand.
